1. Our Role as a Technology Platform

We provide the digital infrastructure to connect construction professionals, site managers, and homeowners with local crane fleets and certified lifting personnel. Any contract, agreement, or transaction resulting from a match made on our platform is strictly between you and the third-party supplier or personnel.

2. Account Registration & User Obligations

To use our services, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information. By creating an account, you agree that:

• Verification: If you are registering as a lifting professional, all uploaded qualifications (e.g., CPCS, NPORS) must be authentic and currently valid.
• Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Acceptable Use: You will not use our platform to distribute spam, scrape data, or engage in fraudulent business practices. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Crane Hire & B2B Matchmaking

When you post a lift enquiry (e.g., CPA Contract Lift or CPA Crane Hire) through our radius engine, your details are shared with relevant local suppliers. Please note:

• CPA Guidelines: All crane hire operations facilitated through introductions on this platform should be conducted under the Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) model conditions.
• Liability for Lifts: Crane Team accepts no liability for delays, damages, accidents, or financial disputes occurring on-site. Responsibility rests entirely with the appointed AP (Appointed Person), the lifting team, and the crane supplier holding the relevant insurance policies.
• Pricing: Any quotes or pricing provided by suppliers are independent of Crane Team. We do not guarantee the pricing, availability, or performance of any third-party fleet.

4. Personnel & Jobs Board

For site managers posting vacancies and operators applying for shifts:

Crane Team is a venue for connecting talent with opportunities. We do not directly employ the operators listed on our site. It remains the sole responsibility of the hiring contractor to verify the right to work, medical fitness, and competency of any personnel sourced through our platform before they commence safety-critical work.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Crane Team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your access to, or use of, our platform.

Our platform is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. While we strive for 100% uptime and accurate radius matching, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, entirely secure, or error-free.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, platform design, custom code, and matching algorithms on CraneTeam.co.uk are the intellectual property of Crane Team. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our digital assets without explicit written permission.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
